Pasteurized milk is a type of milk that has undergone mild heat treatment to kill harmful bacteria and extend its shelf life, while preserving the nutritional value and flavor of the milk as much as possible. The following are the main production process steps of pasteurized milk:
1. Raw milk receiving and inspection
Raw milk tanker unloading system: transfers milk from the transport vehicle to the milk storage tank.
Quality testing equipment: Conduct strict quality testing on each batch of milk to ensure that indicators such as fat, protein, antibiotic residues, and microbial content are qualified.
2. Preprocessing
• Filtration and Purification: Remove impurities and large particles from milk.
Homogenization: By using high pressure to break and evenly distribute fat globules, it prevents fat from floating up and improves taste and stability.
Standardization: Adjust the ratio of fat and protein in milk to meet product requirements.
3. Pasteurization
Heating: Heat the milk to around 72 ° C and hold for 15 seconds to kill potential harmful microorganisms.
• Cooling: Quickly cool to around 4 ° C to prevent residual microbial growth and maintain the freshness of the milk.
4. Cooling and packaging
Cooling equipment: Ensure that the milk has been cooled to the appropriate temperature before filling.
Measurement filling machine: Accurately weigh and fill products into packaging containers.
Sealing machine: Seal packaging containers to ensure that products are not contaminated during transportation and storage.
Label printer: Attach labels indicating production date, shelf life, ingredient list, and other information.
5. Quality control and testing
Sampling and testing equipment: Randomly select samples for physical and chemical property determination, microbial limit testing, etc.
• Laboratory equipment: equipped with basic experimental instruments such as microscopes, scales, pH meters, etc., to support comprehensive quality assessment.
6. Finished product storage and transportation
Warehouse management system: Manage inventory to ensure that products are stored in a clean, dry, and well ventilated environment.
Logistics distribution equipment: such as refrigerated trucks or other suitable methods to transport finished products to sales terminals.
Pasteurized Milk Processing Line installation and debugging

2. Equipment Arrival and Inspection

3. Installation
3.1 Plumbing and Piping• Install pipelines for milk intake, pasteurization, cooling, and CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems. Use stainless steel or food-grade plastic pipes and fittings to avoid contamination.3.2 Electrical and Control Systems• Connect electrical wiring for motors, sensors, and control panels according to the manufacturer's instructions and local electrical codes.• Configure control systems for temperature control, flow monitoring, and alarms.3.3 Equipment Assembly• Assemble and install key components such as: • Receiving and Storage Tanks: For holding raw milk before processing.• Pasteurizer: The heart of the system, designed to heat-treat milk to destroy pathogens.• Homogenizer: To evenly distribute fat particles for consistency.• Cooling System: To rapidly cool the milk after pasteurization.• Filling and Packaging Machines: For bottling or packing the milk.3.4 Hygienic Fittings and Valves• Install sanitary valves, filters, and traps to facilitate cleaning and prevent contamination.
