Vortex Flowmeter is a flow measurement instrument based on the Karman Vortex Principle, widely used for flow detection of gases, liquids, and vapors. It calculates the flow rate by detecting the frequency of vortices generated alternately on both sides downstream of the bluff body (usually a cylindrical object) when the fluid flows through it.
